Currency exchange services are widely available in Rio de Janeiro. It is advisable to compare rates and fees to get the best deal. We suggest purchasing an international debit card (like wise, nomad e.g.) if you are a foreigner, as currency conversion is automatic and the card works in any establishment in Rio. Credit cards are good options too.
